Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker Short Animation

This was a little animation I did in anticipation for Star Wars episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker. I thought it would be fun to throw in a little theory about how Palpatine may have survived once his presence surfaced in the trailers! Alright, so maybe it’s not the most “serious” theory out there…

 The Lady from Guam

Ah “The Lady From Guam”. I was feeling the animation bug. It had been years since I produced anything resembling a short and having gotten my hands on an iPad Pro I downloaded the app Animation Desk and tried my hand at adapting this random anonymous Limerick I came across online. Fun stuff!

Bad Space Fiends

“Bad Space Fiends” is… Coming!!…. Eventually…. I love this project! Seriously. I first drew the two protagonists (the spaceman and the little green alien) back in high school. For whatever reason they resurfaced into my psyche and manifested themselves into this project and these two spiffy teasers. Unfortunately in an unexpected turn of events, all the animation and individual frames I worked on for the project were lost. Yes, it IS kind of sad. No, I don’t want to talk about it. I’m fine. What do you mean I don’t sound fine?… Alas, such is life at times. But while taking a break from working on “Space Fiends” I was fortunate enough to get an animation gig that ended up teaching me a lot and giving me great ideas on how to make this new run at the film, “fiendishly” better!! Enjoy these two teasers that got the project off the ground in the first place!
